BOOKING CONDITIONS

Accommodation 

This propertys availability may have up to 24 hours confirmation waiting period.   24 HOUR OPERATOR

Unless specified otherwise by the individual accommodation provider at the bottom of the availability screen conditions are as follows:-

  • If booking made more than 21 days prior to arrival: 
    Immediate payment to the value of one night's accommodation is required to confirm booking. Balance due 21 days prior to arrival date.
  • If booking made within 21 days of arrival: 
    Immediate full payment required to confirm booking. 

These propertys rates and availability are 100% up to date and your booking will be instantly confirmed.    GOLD STAR OPERATOR

  • Full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

ALL ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS

  • Amendments to existing booking: $25.00 per amendment. 

Failure to comply with the conditions outlined above will result in cancellation of booking.  If cancellation of a confirmed booking is requested (where payment has been made), we reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation/tour of a similar standard. In the case of an accommodation/tour operator overbooking their property or for any other reason beyond our control, please view the operator’s cancellation and indemnity policy before paying for your booking.

All bookings: Full payment at the time of confirmation.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Accommodation

Whilst we provide a Free Booking Service, we apply an administration charge of $25 (inc. GST) to all confirmed booking changes and permitted cancellations.

Please note that this is in addition to any cancellation charges imposed by the accommodation provider.  Please view the Operators Cancellation Policy and Indemnity Policy before paying for your booking.

Unless otherwise stated by an individual operator the following visitor information policy will apply:-

  • Cancellations made between 21 & 7 days prior to arrival will be subject to a charge equivalent to One Nights Accommodation.
  • There will be NO refund on changes/cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date. 

Tours

If cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to departure a booking fee of $25.00 will be deducted from the refund.
If cancellation is within 7 days prior to departure, no refund unless cancelled by the operator.

Sales of services as contained in this publication are made by Great Lakes Visitor Centre, only as an agent for the person, business or company providing the services. Great Lakes Visitor Centre does not accept responsibility for any changes in price variation of services shown. All services and prices are subject to change without notice.

In an effort to keep our service as simple and easy as possible we do not create, use or store profiles of our customers. We only record PII and other information that we reasonably require to do business with you.

Make a booking

Your full name, address, email address and phone number are taken each time you make a booking with greatlakes.org.au
Contact tourism@greatlakes.gov.au

greatlakes.org.au collects PII such as your full name, address, email address and/or telephone number whenever you submit a query or suggestion, or request assistance with a booking. 

How We Use Your Information

greatlakes.org.au uses your PII only for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and services.

Information collected on greatlakes.org.au may be used to:

- Purchase greatlakes.org.au products or services,

- Information collected when you purchase from greatlakes.org.au is used to charge your credit card and deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking. 

- Respond to your questions or suggestions

We will use your address, email address and/or telephone number to contact you when you submit a question or suggestion. 

Who We Share Your Information With

greatlakes.org.au does not disclose any information about customer bookings to anyone except in the following circumstances:

Accommodation suppliers:
greatlakes.org.au provides the guest name, telephone number, address and email address for each booking made to the relevant accommodation supplier.
Our accommodation suppliers require this information for the booking and if they need to contact you about the booking.
Although greatlakes.org.au offers accommodation from reputable accommodation suppliers, we have not placed specific limitations on these suppliers from using or disclosing your information without your permission.
Therefore, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any suppliers whose accommodation you purchase on greatlakes.org.au 

Legal obligations

greatlakes.org.au may be required by law to disclose information provided by you to greatlakes.org.au for the purposes of obtaining products or services from greatlakes.org.au
greatlakes.org.au may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to greatlakes.org.au interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could cause harm to others.

How You Control and Access Your Information

Validity of Rates

Accommodation costs are for room only and do not include transfer or breakfast cost unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of the Australian Goods and Services Tax. Prices over accommodation block out periods may alter from the prices advertised.

Tours - These operators reserve the right to alter itineraries at any time as a result of fire, flood, extreme weather conditions or any other circumstance beyond their control.

Entertainment - No refunds or exchange of tickets.
