Myall Lake

Myall Lakes are the largest natural fresh-brackish water system on the NSW coast covering 10,000 ha and are listed as a wetland of international importance under  the RAMSAR convention. The lakes system is made up of four main sections: Bombah Broadwater, Two Mile Lake, Boolambayte Lake and Myall Lake.

There is one large river flowing into the Myall Lakes system, the Myall River. Water flows down the Myall River past Buladelah into the Bombah Broadwater from the North-West. There is no river system flowing directly into the Myall Lake.
