ONE MILE BEACH, FORSTER
One Mile Beach offers fabulous views and good surfing at its Northern end. It can be accessed at a number of points but is probably best reached at the southern end off Underwood Road. This end of the beach is overlooked by Palm Grove Park, which has children's play areas and a host of amenities. It is also the location for the local surf club. The beach is popular with swimmers but can be potentially hazardous owing to the prominent & persistent rips.

McBrides Beach can be found on the southern outskirts of Forster along Cape Hawke Road. It's one of those beaches that has you instantly mesmerised and is as good as it looks. It really is the ideal place to escape for the day. However, it can only be accessed by a rough 4WD-Only road or if you're fit you can attempt a steep walk!
