Wildcat Regatta 2010

The Wildcat Regatta has achieved legendary status as the most popular and "must do" regatta amongst catamaran sailors along Australia's east coast. No other regatta draws as many competitors to the one event. This is Australia's largest catamaran regatta with an international class attracting Olympic and world champions, Masters and Junior Series.

Myall Coast Festival 2010

The Myall Coast Festival is a family-friendly day, with a large variety of market stalls, stage entertainment, river activities, games and competitions for the kids, all taking place on the magical waterfront of Tea Gardens, beside the Myall River. This year we are incorporating some activities over on the new Pontoon on Moira Parade park, Hawks Nest. Commencing on Friday 29th October for the Opening of the Focus on The Artist of the Myall Exhibition we'll have the famous Myall Fireworks Display on the beautiful Myall River. So bring your hat, sunscreen and the whole family!

New Years Eve Celebrations 2010

Celebrate New Years Eve Great Lakes Style! From 6pm John Wright Park, Tuncurry will be filled with music and entertainment for the entire family. The celebrations lead into one of the largest fireworks displays on the North Coast. Bring along your picnic rug and tune into Great Lakes FM 101.5 at 9pm for the fireworks simulcast as this is an event not to be missed!

Bulahdelah Bass Bash & Bass Bash Ball

A catch and release bass fishing competition held at senior and junior levels. Heaps of camping along the river edge, prizes and refreshments available. All proceeds raised go to the fingerling fund. The Bass Bash Ball held on Friday night is a must for any fisherman who enjoys music and entertainment.
Forster Fishing Carnival 2011

The waters of Wallis Lake, the surrounding headlands and beaches along with its offshore reefs offer competing anglers some of the best competitive Sportfishing grounds in NSW!
Events such as the ABT Bream Megabucks and the Australian Fishing Championships have for years based themselves on Wallis Lake, home of the big bream!!

The Viking Six-a-Side Football Challenge 2011

Now in its 19th year, this annual six-a-side soccer competition saw 100 teams (both men and women) compete for winners honours in 2010. Regarded as one of the best of its type in NSW, games are quick, exciting and very competitive. Free entertainment provided on the Saturday night.
