The new Must-Do event on the national adventure calendar, The Forster Anaconda Adventure Race encourages you to polish the rust off your favourite outdoor activity, to bag the big one! The Anaconda Adventure Race at Forster offers two unique and equally spectacular adventure race courses on Saturday and Sunday. Teams and individuals can choose to do both days and gain glory in the Full Anaconda, or maybe complete just the Sunday course with the Anaconda Half.

NSW Country Junior Rugby League Championships 2010

This is your chance to see the big names of the future representing their local area in the Northern Zone of the Country Rugby League Junior Championships. 10 groups from the northern part of NSW will take part in both the Under 15 & 16 age groups. The Championships are a competition of the best of Country Rugby League in the age groups and many players go on to represent the CRL in higher levels and may even go on to careers with NRL teams.

Conducted for NSW country based players only, this annual event has a long and memorable history and has great tradition in the tennis world. The mens open singles having been won in past years by many Australian representatives including Davis Cup Players like Jason Stoltenberg and Mark Edmonson.
The Event includes The Medibank Country Junior Championships to be played during the week Mon 5 - 9 July. With the Mens & Womens Open Championships held over the weekend of 2 - 4 July.

Wildcat Regatta 2010

The Wildcat Regatta has achieved legendary status as the most popular and "must do" regatta amongst catamaran sailors along Australia's east coast. No other regatta draws as many competitors to the one event. This is Australia's largest catamaran regatta with an international class attracting Olympic and world champions, Masters and Junior Series.

Celebrate New Years Eve Great Lakes Style! From 6pm John Wright Park, Tuncurry will be filled with music and entertainment for the entire family. The celebrations lead into one of the largest fireworks displays on the North Coast. Bring along your picnic rug and tune into Great Lakes FM 101.5 at 9pm for the fireworks simulcast as this is an event not to be missed!

'Battle of the Boats' - Pacific Palms Surf Boat Carnival 2011

The Battle of the Boats is one of the largest surf boat Carnivals in NSW and has given Pacific Palms its largest annual event. The Battle of the Boats commenced in 1998 as a carnival for boaties. That first year 63 crews competed. In 2000 it won the Country Event of the Year. Last year a record 180 crews competed. Don't miss this chance to view this spectacularly colourful event held at one of the most picturesque places on the coast. Fantastic competition - Fantastic location!

Bulahdelah Bass Bash & Bass Bash Ball

A catch and release bass fishing competition held at senior and junior levels. Heaps of camping along the river edge, prizes and refreshments available. All proceeds raised go to the fingerling fund. The Bass Bash Ball held on Friday night is a must for any fisherman who enjoys music and entertainment.
