This great new multi-sport event will be held in and around the Port Stephens and Great Lakes area including Soldiers Point, Pindimar, Tea Gardens, Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay and Salamander. This off and on road multi-event will see participants swim 1.6km, then a mountain bike ride, then kayak from Tea Gardens to Shoal Bay with the final leg along footpaths and foreshore parks to the finish line at Salamander Shores, Soldiers Point. The Bowling Association of the Railway Institute from NSW, New Zealand, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia will be holding a carnival at Forster Bowling Club from 12 February to 23 February 2012.
