If your interests are bush walking in rain forests, canoeing/boating/water-ski-ing, four wheel driving, mud crabbing, fishing, yabbying, tennis or simply feeding the cattle, Sunbury Lodge has it all.
The property has a 1.5 kilometre water front access to the Wang Wauk and Cooloongolook River system flowing into the Great Lakes, with private boat ramp & boat washing facility available. Forster-Tuncurry is only a 15 mins boat trip away!
Accommodation at Sunbury Lodge consists of:-
5 x rooms each with double bed & double bunks.
3 x rooms each with double bed & single bed.
2 x small bunk rooms each with 2 x double bunks (sleeps 4) .
All rooms are carpeted and have complete linen bedding, a mini refrigerator, toilet & shower stall.
Sunbury also has two 'Bush Bunk Houses' (no toilet or washroom facilities) for older children, or for those who want to do it a bit rougher.
Facilities also include a very large, comfortable Recreation Room complete with communal kitchen, dining area, toilets, bar facilities, lounge furniture, television, DVD player, telephone and CD/cassette stereo system. The Recreation Room is an excellent place for relaxing, group meetings, meals, dances or tall tales about "the one that got away."
Outside, there is a sheltered, lighted BBQ and plenty of picnic tables. A laundry facility is also available for use by guests.
