Australia Day Celebrations commence
in Forster Tuncurry with a Pilot Hill Flag
Raising Ceremony & Breakfast at
830am then on to the Australia Day
awards ceremony at 11am at Club
Forster preceded by morning tea at
the club from 1030am. Then to John
Wright Park Tuncurry for a Rotary
organised family fun day including live
music, magician, carnival rides, the
Lions train, awesome castle, car
display & clown face painting. This
program will now include an Australia
Day Talent Quest.

Celebrate Australia Day with a FREE
family fund day in the outdoor BBQ
area from 11am. FREE Sausage Sizzle
~ FREE Entertainment ~ FREE
Jumping Castle ~ Lots of Family Fun!
Then from 4pm at the Sporties. Come
& enjoy some great traditional Aussie
country music.
Australia Day with DE JA VU
Venue: Great Lakes Winery

Come celebrate Australia Day with
local 60's & 70's rock & roll band
DE JA VU. Adults $10, Kids U15 FOC.
Gates open 10am with the band
starting at 1130am. Picnic boxes can
be pre-ordered. On the day there will
be delicious cheese plates, the barbie
will be running or you can just bring
your own picnic!! A fun, relaxed, family
day!
Coomba Fest
Venue: Coomba Park Village

A community celebration featuring the
famous Coomba Park Raft Race will
be held during Coomba Fest starting
with an Australia Day Breakfast at 830
at the Coomba Park Village followed by
the Picnic Races commencing at
10am with the Raft Race at 12noon.
There will be live music, fun activities &
refreshments.
BBQ & Film Screening

The Bulahdelah Historical Society is
holding a BBQ followed by a movie
night at the Court House on Australia
Day commencing at 6pm. Cost $5,
everyone welcome.

This March Forster Tuncurry is set to be
alive with Australia's most
comprehensive fishing carnival and
outdoor expo. The pristine waters of the
Wallis Lake, the surrounding headlands,
off shore reefs and beaches, offer
anglers the complete fishing package.
Events include blue water, rock & beach
estuary boat/ kayak/ bank sections along
with an individual children's competition.
For 2012 there is also free entry to the
expo based on the headland adjacent to
the Forster Break wall. Come and see
the live fish display and exhibits from
Industry & Investment (Fisheries) NSW
Maritime, children's fishing clinic,
seafood cooking demonstrations, the
latest in fishing tackle, boats, kayaks,
camping equipment and more.
With some fantastic fishing, great prizes
and plenty to keep the whole family
entertained ~ this is definately one not to
miss!.
